Franklin Fire Department provides services with two stations. One station (Station 55) is located on Hwy 601 just outside of the city limits and the other one (Station 56) is located on Hwy 70. Franklin Fire Department has provided fire protection for this area for more than 50 years. It is a volunteer department with approximately 29 members.
